Course Overview:
Unit 213 – Prepare a pedestrian mower for operation
Unit 214 – Operate a pedestrian mower
Unit 215 – Prepare a ride on mower for operation
Unit 216 – Operate a ride on mower
This course is for individuals who operate mowers as part of their work in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance, greenkeeping and amenity use. One-day training and assessment provides the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare and operate ride on and/or pedestrian mowers safely and to industry standards in line with current legislation. Topics covered include pre-start checks, maintenance, identification of controls and instruments and safe operation.
Candidates can choose ride on or pedestrian operated machines and 2 of the following 3 cutting mechanisms Cylinder / Flail / Rotary
