Unit 213 – Prepare pedestrian controlled mower for operation
Unit 214 – Operate a pedestrian controlled mower
This course is for individuals who operate pedestrian mowers as part of their work in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance, greenkeeping and amenity use. One-day training and assessment provides the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare and operate pedestrian mowers safely and to industry standards in line with current legislation. Topics covered include pre-start checks, maintenance, identification of controls and instruments and safe operation.
Candidates can choose 2 of the following 3 cutting mechanisms Cylinder / Flail / Rotary
