FAW+F for Forestry Level 3 (VTQ)

This 3 day First Aid at Work Level 3 course (FAW+F) is ideal for those working in land-based industries.  Training will include the extra subjects required by the Forestry Commission such as severe cuts, crush injuries, hypothermia and Lyme disease.  Also included to comply with the latest HSE and ERC guidelines, are Tourniquets and Haemostatic dressings.  Subjects covered include Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider, Assess an incident, Unresponsive casualty, Choking, External bleeding, Shock, Secondary survey, Injuries to bones, muscles and joints, Head and spinal injuries, Chest injury, Burns and scolds, Eye injury and Poisoning.
