Ride on and Pedestrian Operated Mowers (NPTC) 001435

This course is for individuals who operate mowers as part of their work in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance, greenkeeping and amenity use.  One-day training and assessment provides the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare and operate mowers safely and to industry standards in line with current legislation.  Topics covered include pre-use checks, maintenance, identification of controls and instruments, and operating the machine taking in to account the type of cutting mechanism used.

Candidates can choose ride on or pedestrian operated machines and 2 of the following 3 cutting mechanisms Cylinder / Flail / Rotary.
