This e-learning course is for people who undertake management of rodent species in relation to pest control, in domestic, agricultural and business settings. This provides the proof of competence
require to purchase professional rodenticide. The learning outcomes for this qualification are:
• Legislative requirements for rodent pest management
• Reasons for control
• Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
• Biology and behaviour for a specific range of rodent pests
• How to survey to assess the level of rodent infestation
• How to apply an eradication campaign for the specific active rodent species
• Control risk hierarchy for the control of rodent pests
• How to monitor on an ongoing basis to manage future rodent activity

4-6 hours e-learning plus one hour proctored exam
