EFA+F for Forestry Level 3 (VTQ)

This one-day Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 course (EFAW+F) is ideal for those working in land-based industries.  Subjects covered include Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider, Assess an incident, Unresponsive casualty, Choking, External bleeding and Shock.  The 7 hours of training includes the extra subjects required by the Forestry Commission such as severe cuts, crush injuries, hypothermia and Lyme disease.  Also included to comply with the latest HSE and ERC guidelines, are Tourniquets and Haemostatic dressings.

In order to achieve this qualification there will be an online multiple choice test at the end of the day.
