City & Guilds NPTC Level 3 Certificate of Competence in Use of a Chainsaw from a Mobile Elevated Work Platform 003938
This course is for individuals who carry out tasks in operations using a chainsaw from a mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) as part of their work in arboriculture, forestry or other industries. The 2 days training is designed to prepare candidates for their C&G NPTC assessment and provides the knowledge, understanding and skills required to prepare and operate a chainsaw from a MEWP safely and to industry standards in line with current legislation. Topics covered include health and safety, risk assessment, legislation, site preparation, maintenance, pre-start checks and safe operation.
