Course Overview
Our one-day Level 3 EFAW+F is FAIB approved and complies with all HSE and Resuscitation Council Guidelines (UK and European) as well as following FAIB criteria.
The course is ideal for those working in land-based industries. Subjects covered include understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider, assess an incident, unresponsive casualty, choking, external bleeding and shock.
The 7 hours of training includes the extra subjects required by the Forestry Commission such as hypothermia, lift threatening bleeds, crush injuries, Lyme disease, snake bites, tourniquets and haemostatic dressings.
To gain this qualification candidates must successfully complete a multiple-choice test at the end of the session.
