Unit 290 – Operating Mounted, Trailed and Self Propelled Hydraulic Nozzle or Rotary Atomiser Horizontal Boom Sprayers PA2A
One-day training will provide the knowledge, understanding and skills required to apply pesticides using a self-propelled, mounted or trailed horizontal boom sprayer. Topics covered include legislative and safety regulations, environmental factors, read and interpret product information, prepare and calibrate the applicator, operate the application equipment, post-operational procedures.
To gain this qualification candidates must successfully complete a one-to-one practical assessment with oral questioning by a City & Guilds NPTC approved assessor.
Training and assessment will take place at customers premises using their own equipment, each course can accommodate up to 4 candidates.
