One‑day training and assessment provides the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to prepare and operate remote‑control machinery safely and in line with current legislation and industry standards. Topics covered include Pre‑use checks and routine maintenance, Identification and correct use of controls and safety features, Safe and effective operation of remote‑control machinery, Industry best practice and safe‑working techniques.
To achieve this qualification delivered by a City & Guilds NPTC approved assessor candidates must successfully complete a one‑to‑one practical assessment with oral questioning.
Training and assessment will take place at your premises using your own equipment. If preferred training can take place at our premises in Ongar, however you must provide your own equipment.
